The Buck Never Stops

"Blessed are the young for they shall inherit the national debt." Former president Herbert Hoover once said. What ever happens, no matter how high the national debt skyrockets, future generations will be the ones to inevitably suffer. Hitting the American people like a train, the government shoves it's greedy tubes into every orifice, draining the economy to cover their asses. I highly doubt this stimulus bill will be effective. Money going every which way is only going to tear the wound, not repair it. People know where in a "recession" yet they go out anyway having a good time buying over priced movie tickets, game consoles, and dinners. Lets not worry about reality and go about life in a daze. Boggles my mind how people can be so tight with money when it comes to nessesity and so very loose when it comes to leisure activity. Like this bill, just spending, pork barrels left and right, it's disgusting. I actually wonder if the American people had a say in the bill would it of changed? Average people are ignorant, with the bill not in layman, most wouldn't even understand half of what was going on. We put blind faith in the leaders we elect, we are to blame, I as well. I'll admit I vote, politicians and there way with painting a beautiful picture of will be if elected. I fall for it time and time again. I'll suffer just the same.

Don't Think, Join.

In no way am I against the armed forces, but their methods of enlistment in my opinion are persistantly terrifying. I understand recruiters are the military's salepeople and good salespeople they are indeed. Recruiters came to my highschool just as they did every highschool on the prowl for young, influential bodies ripe for the picking. Holding push-up contests and giving away free military shirts, pens, and 16 bit graphic computer games they put on a convincing show in public of being nice. Recruiters then distribute out cards and pamphlets with their information to sow the seeds. From the expierience and ambiance of the highschool encounter, to the actual recruiting station is a entirely different story. From being almost to completely comfortable at the highschool encounter, here the naive indidvidual has no idea of the surroundings and is as nervous as can be. They start by getting some rapport, ask a few questions pretending to be your buddy and out of nowhere lay the pressure on thick. "I'll need you to bring your highschool dipolma, social security card, and your birth certificate in tommorow. Can you do that for me?" You wanna say "No" everything is going too fast, what was once just a curiosity has just evolved into a commitment. In the event you say "No" the recruiters just pelt you with more questions, drillign into your mind until you change your tune. I remember sitting by myself there telling him "I have to really think about it." His reply "What's there to think about?" I stare blankly back, there's one of me, and roughly from my rusty recollection at least four recruiters all with their eys cast upon me. Peer pressue had taken affect, I conceded. You the reader might think to yourself that the situation just shared will never happen to you. Honestly I thought the same way, but when your surrounded and alone your mind gets altered. It's the same principle with teens and their influences with drugs and alcohol, everyone is doing it Why aren't you? With that said, again the armed forces is an excellent route for a lot of people. Don't rush anything and unlike the title, think before you join.

"Go Help Yourself"

Why is it that most times someones ask for help they end up helping themselves. People are getting real lazy nowadays. Just this morning I was getting ready for school, I ask my mom " Hey, could you please open the office door I need a pair of underwear" While she was sitting on the couch, eyeballs burned into the television screen replied " No, go help yourself." Wow, thanks mom! i search and search, yet come up fruitless. in the end I free balled, but thats beside the point. Moments after this eccentric decision my mother then asks me to get her cloths out of the laundry and to wake up the boys. Do I help her? Why? Such laziness must be rewarded with assistance, right? No way jos'e! Screw people like that. It always brings me back to the parable I believed to be called "The Little Red Hen." Everyone is too lazy to put in the effort to help, but have their hands out when all is said and done.

Mathematics

Without a doubt I can say, I love Math. Math was my favorite subject in high school and math is my favorite class in college. I loved almost every class that didn't have a bubbly blond ditz sitting directly in front of me asking redundant questions. Though, I'm nearly not as smart as some people in the field, I try my hardest to reach that point. My true calling in life I believe is to be a math teacher, but by economical reason my dreams must be tucked away to pursue the career of a nurse, I digress. Anything can be explained with numbers. My favorite late night television series "Numb3rs" time and time again show how math can and is used to predict a criminals next move. Math is universal. If you gathered up people from all over the world; Chinese, Germans, Italians, Russians, Americans, Japanese, French, and Spanish though their languages and cultures are worlds apart, math is understood the same. Where ever you go the Pythagorean theorem will indefinitely remain the same. Take my advice, learn all you can. Learn math, learn science, learn english, learn everything. The old saying holds true "Knowledge is power."

Feather your Nest!

The concept of morality is often misconstrued. Is it moral to give to the poor? Is is moral to help a friend in need? Yes it sounds moral, but what are the intentions of the person swooping into help? For example, say a man and his friend where in line for food. One of the men forgot his wallet and the line is so long and the car is so far away that its impossible to go back, retrieve it and return. The buddy then suggests to him that he will offer to pay. Kind gesture? Sure, but what are the true intention. Does this friend want him under his thumb, so that he who borrows the money is obligated to a favor. Thats when it becomes immoral. Politicans know this rule all to well, they live it, breathe, eat it and drink it.

If you want to be popular, if you want to have friends, if you want to have favors simply do apparently nice things for people over and over. People will flock to you and feel obligated to you for doing such favors for them big and small that when the time arises for you to need them, they will beckon to your call.

How to Make Money

I sit in my dark room, laid off. What the hell am I to do now? No job and a whole lot of pride. I can ry to put myself out on the market, but that will take a while seeing that there are way too many people, way to high of a demend, and way not enough open positions to fulfill everyones need. So as I sit, I wonder... These came to mind.

1. Sell useless items (guitar, keyboard, amp, etc) on either craigslist or Ebay. Ebay the way to go I think, craigslist you have blithering idiots who either want to barter or scam you.

2. Pick up a profitable hobby. Make something people want. Example: Greeting cards, candles, and flower bouquets. Seems lame, but people go for it!

3. Sell you skill. Personally I'm good at card illusions, guitar, and well intune with mathematics so putting on shows or becoming a tutor sound good to me! Problem with this one is you need to advertise, but if you really are determined it's possible!

4. Gambling. Risky business, I myself am not a gambler unless the odds are great in my favor or I have a leg up on the situation.

5. Adsense your blog if you have one. I'm doing this right now!

6. Contests and scholarships. Writing contests are big, a good way to beef up your vocab and hopefully get paid in the process. Either way you walk away with something!

7. Beg and Panhandle. For the shameless, whip out the old hat and busted guitar and say "God Bless You" to every pedestrian that crosses your path!

8. Try to find a new job! It will be tedious staring at a computer screen to repeatly fill out resume after resume, hopefully it will be worth it though.

9. Recycle. Aluminum, copper and brass are all worth shiny pennies. Just don't go ripping off someones siding or plumbing. Recycling is a big one!

10. Odd jobs. Yard work, cleaning, moving, transporting all things people ned help with lend a helping hand and they will come back for more! You could start your own business if you wanted!

I can't think of anymore ideas that fall in the realm of legal. So with that I say hope you learned something or found a new way of making some cold hard cash the honest way! Hooray!

Life Compromised for Safety

How many people would, by impulse, go skydiving? How many people would bungee jump off a bridge? Not many. People lives are trite, we live day in and day out in boring repetition. I'm not saying I'm any different, but I try at every given moment to spice things up (within legal limitations!! Hehe) Compromising living with safety. One in a hundred people would rush into a burning building to save a life. We individually value our lives. this is not a bad thing, but it does prevent experiences and memories from being made. Now ask yourself the previous questions, but this time pretend you were in a plane that was about to crash. Would you jump then? My guess is yes. Again, we value life, we take the same action and put it in a different situation. Why did the answer change, did all of a sudden our fear of jumping before die? No the idea went from free will to nessesity to survive. My point is this, don't live to survive, live to live. Take a bite out of the ripest apple of life and keep eating!

Obamination!

No problems with race, no problems with status, no problems. When they tell me the goverment is gonna tax my money, then we have a problem. This stimulus bill is a joke and in no way going to benefit me. It targets poor people, people who are already mooching off the system to begin with. You must spend money to make money money is the arguement presented to allow this bill to be passed. We have NO money, we have integrity, we have no jobs. People threw out american tradition and quality and bartered it for cheap labor and mass production. I also like how we don't even care though. Each passing day it seems the goverment has more and more control over us. No questions asks, we just go along like a the naive lamb to the slaughter. With Barracks exceptional public speaking skills he riles up the crowds into a frenzy chanting "CHANGE! CHANGE! CHANGE!" desperatly people want change, people love change, change is usually good. Personally I'm a nostolgic kinda guy, but this "Change" thing even got to me. Which is why I voted for him. He's so sincere thats it's hard not to trust him even though he's a politican. I can't be 100% certain of anything, but I have an idea of what will most likely happen. I think this bill is gonna flop, I think the bill was a dumb idea, I think this bill could of better if they asked the public. Goverment officials think they know what's good for society. Weirdly the public didn't even get to see the bill til it was passed. The people own the goverment, the goverment should obey the people. Instead its been reversed, the people obey the goverment, turning our democracy slowly into something we all will dread.

Global Warming

My idea of global warming is this...it's happening. I agree with the fact the earth is heating up. I also agree with the fact that as a society we pollute excessivly. What i do not agree ith is the relation between global warming and our pollution. With the little information we really know about the earth, how certain can we be that this just isn't a phase? Anthropologists say that the earth has undergone numerous ice ages, why can't this be one. Influential beings alarm the public with horrific documentaries and promote pollution to get rid of pollution. In the end it's just a cheap ploy to rake in the money. Targeting people's fears and offering a swift solution is the key to getting deep in a sucker's wallet. Elections are held the same way, whoever can instill the most fear and counter with the swiftest and appealing answer will be elected. I don't worry about global warming, but I do worry about the goverment's distraction of global warming to pull unethical movements.

Making Money on Adsense

My thoughts are simple ones. Adsense to the novice, me included is not a waste, but more a let down. Websites claim to have the answers, they don't. What they do seem to have are a whole bunck of ads themselves basically suckering those naive people into clicking. Very clever, it reminds me of all these people selling How to get rich books and DVDs. The only people that will end up getting rich are the guys who are selling to suckers. You might argue that you yourself have purchased such items and that you yourself have made money. You will never make nearly as much as they say you will. See if it really worked more people would buy, and also if it worked why would they sell the secret and ruin their own business? DUMB and Adsense is no better. Even if you make $100 dollars your making google $1000 dollars. Did you think they would pay you for nothing?

Motivation is Meaningless

From the title you might guess that motivation is meaningless. In some rare cases people actually follow through with what they intend to do. Fat people are notorious for this. "I'm gonna look that 40 pounds, I promise myself" they fill their minds with all these ideas of losing weight and the vision of a better life to MOTIVATE them. There's only one flaw to this, people are easily tempted. Fatty McFatfat might be on a diet, but the moment he smells that donut all bets are off. It goes farther that people and diets; students who wish to get good grades, husbands who want to be good fathers, the like. We fall into such a routine that its almost impossible to get out and CHANGE. So if motivation to change is nearly impossible, why go through all the effort? Simply to just again prove how worthless and goal unoriented we are! Haha

Scape Goats to the Slaughter

I hate when the innocent get punished. The guilty find a patsy to sacrafice in order to keep thier own noses clean. We pass the buck to make life right, to satisfy the need for justice someone musy pay. Why not the guilty? With clever criminal minds they can easily, like conmen, trick people into playing their twisted games. High profile cases that the police investigate have many eyes upon them, with no answers the heat gets cranked up. When no solid evidence is found, they forget ethics and plant evidence or trick suspects into giving fasle statements. A very well written book, "Rag and the Bone Shop" by Robert Cormier tells the story of a boy who has been accused of murdering a little girl. The boy is clearly innocent, but after being hammered my detectives and having brutal interrogation techniques put on him, confesses. The scaiest part of the book, is that this young boy not only confesses to a crime he did not commit, but ends up believing he actually did do it. Scary stuff, people will go to any extreme to find that golden scape goat.

Good O'le Fashion Gay Bashin'

My brother's gay. I like my brother. Therefore I like gays. Wait let me rephrase, I tolerate gays. I'm indifferent to gays. Do whatever you want just leave me out of it! Ignorant people believe this is a sudden change, same sex intamacy. Truth be told it's been happening since the 1800's. Unlike now back then it was just casual. Nowadays its become more than casual and like feminist these "people" are demanding rights aswell. As much as I can tolerate them, the right to join in marriage is something sacred between a MAN AND WOMAN. I think Southpark got it right, in "Follow that Egg" Give them the option of getting joined, but called Butt Buddies in marriges step. With that said, gay people have been here, the situation has been fine up until the social movement. If we give gays and inch, they will take a mile. Stay strong willed and not give in because once we as a society submit to the demands of irrational beings, it will be hard to regain our composure.

Prison is a Party

Today in school we discussed the prison system. Something around 30,000 to house each of these losers and close to 2.5 million to execute one. That is ridiculous from anybody perspective. The money we spend to house these degenerates is more than some people earn in one years salary! Bogus. Not to mention how packed these prisons are. Lets just say there are 200 inmates in just one prison. 200 x 30,000= 6,000,000 million dollars to house, and this is just one of the many prisons. Give me one dollar and enough bullets and I'll personally blow off every murderer, rapist, and heavy narcotics dealers head, point blank range. I strongly feel that if the goverment started to publically show the masses they meant business about committing serious crime things could posibly start to change. All it takes are a few goats to parade infront of an audience, make an example of of them and the rest will follow suit. The mentallity of a inmate is this: Serve the time, which will be much shorter than sentenced due to the overcrowding of the prisons. Learn from his mistakes so that when he gets out he doesn't get caught again. This prison punishment is surely unjust. We need a new alternative. Complete eradication is what I move for, no second chances. A life for a life, innocence lost and fear in it's step should be punished by death. As for these drug dealers, they should suffer the most. Most rapes and murders occur over or under the influence of them so they are the source of much of the problem. Off with their heads!

Silly Police

Cops everywhere are abusing thier power. Just because they have a badge they feel that it's ok to pick on innocent people. Whenever I hear about a cop brutally attacking someone it makes my skin crawl. I wonder what really happened. I watch Cops every saturday and from time to time I'll see them take down some guy and even after he's down they proceed to wail on him. I can understand the rush they must get from that, I used to wrestle and if I knew I could mess up my opponent I would be relentless in doing so. We entrust officers to be people we can trust, We rely on them to keep the peace, they are suppose to be clear headed, elite individuals who swear to protect and serve.

Evil is Good

There's good and there's evil. One without the other and you'll have nothing. What is good if you have nothing evil to compare it to? This balance between the two keep our ideology in check. Knowing what is evil can allow us to keep walking the fine line. There are people who are evil. These people, as bad as they are seen to be, are essential to life. Where would we be without evil? Well most technological advances where made it times of war and medical research doesn't occur until after the disease has killed thousands of people. Evil has allowed our species to evolve.

Mentally Handicapped Epidemic!

Since the beginning of time, man has contributed to society. From the cavemen who hunted and fought for their tribe, to today's businessmen who works around the clock providing for his family. Point being, contribution to society is key. Inept individuals, the mentally handicap, lack the skills to perform such actions and therefore must be eradicated. Now before anyone begins to feel too enraged to read on, let me just say this idea of "mentally handicap" is based not on those indiviuals who are "retarded" but simply those who lack the capacity to understand and communicate. For our sake not to confuse the two we will call these isolated minds, Bons. Bons must be constantly watched, with no understanding of the norms, laws, and values of society they easy can counter society. Bon's are treated as children throughout their existing lives. Not responsible enough to hold a job or live on their own, they leech off societies sympathy.

Alaskan tradition, when a tribe member became too old or wounded in a way he could no longer provide, he would walk out of the reservation into the cold to die. They understood that the strong survived and the weak and inept will perish. In today's society we completely ignore this idea of the survival of the fittest and allow everyone the right to live. While this is ultimately a positive idea, we fail to realize that those Bons throw off the gene pool by allowingthe weak to carry on in future generations. This can only be seen as a negative attribute, our agenda as a species is to evolve and become stronger both physically and mentally. With Bons strands of weak genes get passed along destroying the natural plan.

Bons are a drain on the economy. Without jobs, responsibilty, and full functioning mind only the autonomic functions remain. Breathing, eating, and excreting are all they can be predicted to do. For those who have custudy over them must watch them or pay people to, buy them food, and spend money of devices that suit their needs. Millions of dollars just being thrown out the door and in return nothing more than blank stares and jibberish. We can argue that they are needed for medical research, but again why not save a few million bucks by just eliminating them from society. Unfortunatly, there's really nothing we can do except talk about the issue, no course of action can be implemented without violating the rights given to these individuals. Think of what we could do with all the money that is funding research in a lost cause. Reasearch in fields such cancer can recieve these funds instead to expidiate results on diseases that can restrore vitality in functioning people. Stop wasting time on a minority that should fo perished long ago and worry about people that can and are and have the capacity to function in society.

Just Desserts???

I've got serious problems when I have to witness some lesser informed individual given the same oppurtunities as me. I'm willing to bet you, the reader, have fell victim to a situation similar. Working day and night to get that A grade on a term paper because it's due on a specific date. All that hard work and effort to create a masterpiece for final analysis only to find out that soem students procrastinated so long that they are still procrastinating in class after the fact its due! So the teacher manipulates the date so the morons who lack ambition can make time in their busy schedules of farting around on the computer and conversing on the phone to eventually come up with something to vaguely write about. Then the due dates approaches for a second time and still a good chunk of dead beat students, not worthy of being in the class, have more excuses of why they couldn't and didn't do it. Hopefully you pray the teacher finnaly gets the hint that these people are inept and collects the due paper and fails the failures. Later on close to the end of the semester these said failures finally get the epiphany that they need to pass and theres not way in hell they can possibly do it with out the aid of the teacher. That's when good ole bonus points come into save the day. Bonus points, the savior of under achievers. These cretins pull out their bowls and whip out their spoons to scoop up as many extra credit points they can fit down their pie hole. Finally the semester is over you talk to your buds, some of which are part of the vastly growing cancer, ask him "What'd you get in english?" he simply responds with a grin "B plus" Jaw dropping, you think back to events in the classroom that could of possibly given him this outcome. Never turned in a essay, barely passed the grammar tests, how the hell did he manage a B plus? BONUS! Breakfast of losers. Anger is the feeling you get when you put all your time into something to accomplish it only to find others who didn't commit nearly as much as you, but ended up with a high grade anyway. Shame on teachers who allow extra credit into the curiculum, students should pass based on performance solely and not on petty pity points for students with priorities other than their education. You might tell me I rant and rave, who cares, just deal with it. This is just one instance my good friends, this is no different than the bum who leeches off the tax payers dime. Just desserts, the ideology that people deserve what they work for, coined by Socrates one of the great greek philosphers. No free hand outs, no free lunch, and especially no free bonus points.

Women...

It never surprises me when a women reluctantly changes her mind. It happens so often that it could even habitual for some. I strongly beleive some women actually want the wrong thing just so they have the oppurtunity to, at the last moment, change their fragile minds. Not only does this constant flux from this to that, but also this so called feminist loons that crave equality. Again, these women DO NOT know what they desire. Equal rights as men is a joke, being mildly sexist I can say that women just aren't as good as men. Not to put down women entirely, but for a women to think she can play on the same field is just ludacris. Physically we are different, mentally we different, and emotionally we are different. I guess since we fall under the same species that should suggest equality. If you ask me women have it good; less responsibility, few mandatory obligations, and lower expectation. Men on the other hand have obligations towards an array of things. These things include the draft, working, bread winner/main support of family. Not only these obligations do they have, but also the expectation to work and support aswell as the responsibility too. With that said feminists who still fight for said rights and priveledges only fight for the rights and privledges. The benefits of man are what they are after, burdens can be thrown to the dogs. They want equal rights, honestly I'm fine with it just as long as they raise the performance expectations back to normal standards, include women in the draft, and after pregnancy not allowing a six month paid leave. Those are just a few compromises of women and if they feel they want to be treated as men they have to pay to play.
